Stage Beyond were delighted to take part in the biggest pageant ever held here in Derry City! The Return of Colmcille celebrated the story and legacy of St Colmcille, patron saint of Derry. As well as street performances throughout the city there was a huge parade to show the Saint what he had missed as Derry gew in his absence. Stage Beyond members represented the tradition of greyhound racing in the city, dressing up as dog walkers, bookmakers and track assistants. Thousands gathered to watch this flamboyant and colourful procession which culminated in St Colmcille meeting his old enemy, the Loch Ness Monster, in the very middle of our own River Foyle!
