‘A PRODUCTION NOT TO BE MISSED’ – DECLARES MAYOR

Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Alderman Graham Warke, with the Stage Beyond ensemble.

Mayor of Derry City and Strabane District Council, Alderman Graham Warke, paid a visit to the Millennium Forum this week to find out more about how preparations are going for Stage Beyond’s ‘The Great Dictator’ performance, which will take place in the local theatre next month.

Alderman Warke said: “I was delighted to meet with the Stage Beyond team ahead of their production ‘The Great Dictator’ which promises to be an amazing and insightful show.

DISABILITIES AND LEARNING DIFFICULTIES

“I was blown away by their ‘Mind the Time’ production at the Foyle Film Festival in December and I am sure this will be another educational and inspiring piece looking at the journey of how people with disabilities and learning difficulties have been viewed and treated by society in the past.

“It’s a tough topic that will be creatively and poignantly explored by the Stage Beyond team. I want to wish them all the very best of luck and I would encourage everyone to get their tickets to a production that is not to be missed.”
